A Realization

For the last two weeks I've been away from college on christmas break and have had a lot of time to rethink my current projects and future projects. Nearly every day for the last two weeks I have been working on new ideas for RAI (Rising Artists International). RAI is a company I started back in June when I had a great idea and no clue how to use it. So I did what every other idiot on the web does... I created a blog. Shortly after I exploded on blogger and created nearly 20 more. I became obesseed with how to make money online and how to do it fast. I realized quickly that Publisher's Clearing House, AW Surveys, and the Prince of Nigeria are all scams.

That realization would not be the first. My next endevour was RAI. Oh, did I think I had something great going there. I would search for new or old artists on the internet and write an article about them on my Blog!! YEAH! ........ NO! Yes, it was great for a little while and it made me a total of 6 dollars after 6 months of work. But if it is one thing I have learned on the interwebs it is that no matter what you do, success is far away without hard work, and time. So I would "feature" artists on my "website" and they would get more traffic to their websites and get more exposure. WRONG. Realization number two: When creating a business or website you NEED to give the visitors a reason to go there in the first place, and you NEED to give them a reason to get them to come back. Over and over again. And then tell their friends and family about it over and over again. Basically, do all the hard work for you.

For now I may not have completely figured out what I need to do, but I am getting closer. I urge you to stay tuned to my struggle.... some failure, and hopefully success. I will update this blog and my others once I realease the bigger and better Rising Artists International.
