RAI's Pepsi Refresh Project

It is time the music industry got a face lift.  It is time we move away from big name Labels and focus more on the artists that truely make the difference in the world and music industry.  It is time that more artists get recognized for the music they play and the message they send instead of whether or not they take their clothes off on stage.

I dream of creating a company to act not only as a promotions company for hard works bands and musical artists but also as a record label, a music management agency, and a friend.  I dream of creating a company that not only helps give musical artists a boost in the industry but truely cares about the artists integrity and purpose.

So let's change things for the better, let's make a difference in the world of music and enable all great artists to get noticed.  Instead of hide behind a wall of only a few myspace friends.  This is our chance, so let's make a difference!

Donate Money to Haiti for Free!

Corey from smpfilms on youtube is donating $300 to Haiti relief for every 100K views on the video.  It may not sound like much but with so many people spreading the video around there is a lot of money being sent to Haiti.  To watch the video on youtube follow this link:

This is perfect for everyone that wants to help but for some reason can't.  Granted donating $10 dollars is as easy as Texting Haiti to 90999 on your cell phone.  Some people can't donate.  Like kids, or people in bad dispositions.  And some people are just uncomfortable with donating.  And some people are just selfish assholes.  If you fall into any of those groups then this is for you.  Simply watch the below video.

A Realization

For the last two weeks I've been away from college on christmas break and have had a lot of time to rethink my current projects and future projects. Nearly every day for the last two weeks I have been working on new ideas for RAI (Rising Artists International). RAI is a company I started back in June when I had a great idea and no clue how to use it. So I did what every other idiot on the web does... I created a blog. Shortly after I exploded on blogger and created nearly 20 more. I became obesseed with how to make money online and how to do it fast. I realized quickly that Publisher's Clearing House, AW Surveys, and the Prince of Nigeria are all scams.

That realization would not be the first. My next endevour was RAI. Oh, did I think I had something great going there. I would search for new or old artists on the internet and write an article about them on my Blog!! YEAH! ........ NO! Yes, it was great for a little while and it made me a total of 6 dollars after 6 months of work. But if it is one thing I have learned on the interwebs it is that no matter what you do, success is far away without hard work, and time. So I would "feature" artists on my "website" and they would get more traffic to their websites and get more exposure. WRONG. Realization number two: When creating a business or website you NEED to give the visitors a reason to go there in the first place, and you NEED to give them a reason to get them to come back. Over and over again. And then tell their friends and family about it over and over again. Basically, do all the hard work for you.

For now I may not have completely figured out what I need to do, but I am getting closer. I urge you to stay tuned to my struggle.... some failure, and hopefully success. I will update this blog and my others once I realease the bigger and better Rising Artists International.

Music Production Takes Flight

I've been producing music for just over two years and never really thought it would go anywhere. At least never in the way it has gone. I have always dreamed of my DJ career taking off but never as a composer for TV shows and commercials. Recently I composed the music for 3 shows run by Rowan Students for the Rowan Television Network and composed the score for a commercial by . I am extremely pround about the shesthefirst score. I think this will be a nice direction for me and my music production career!

Although! Don't forget to check out my work as a DJ at

Almost Overwhelmed

With Rising Artists Int. and the Fruity Loop Studio Help Center ready to take off I have been swamped with things to do. I love working with the bands from RAI and I love trying to help them out but it is hard to kind of put my DJ career on hold right now. Some of you may know I am only in college at the moment but man do I have some big visions for the future. By next summer I should have a fully operational Recording Studio open for business for future RAI members, and my first album release of Synth Window Volume One, a presentation through sound by DJ Geist13 (that's my DJ name). I have all of my songs on but none of my remixes... thanks to copywrite laws I can't really showcase them yet. But I'm working on it. Oh and don't even get me started on Geist Records. I plan to be releasing sample packs and sampler albums two summers from now. That project is taking up a lot of my time as well...

Wait... i'm missing something. Oh yea I gotta go back to getting my degree in sound engineering and sound design with a RTF minor. AH!

Honestly though, I love what I do.

Love Music, Love Life, Life is Music, Live in Music.

Researching Online Money Making Strategies

For the past two weeks I have been researching almost non-stop to try and find a nice way to earn some cash online for only putting in a couple hours of work a week. So far I've researched the following pay programs and have not been happy with any of them.

Jeff Paul's Shortcuts
Automated Cash Formula
Google Money

The only one with a scam alert is Jeff Paul's Shortcuts, there are hundreds of websites dedicated only to warn other people not to sign up for it. Very few if any people that have signed up for Jeff Paul's Shortcuts has actually made the slightest bit of money from it. And the ones have had made money from it, have had to pay over $3000 just to get all the books and DVD's he offers.

Automated Cash Formula works to a degree but not as easy as it claims. But, you still have to pay money to even get the smallest bit of information out of that website.

And Google Money i saw online in an advert on a friends blog so I checked it out on Google, I didn't find it's actual webpage until page 25 of the search results. All the other links before that were ENTIRE websites dedicated to stopping people from using it.

I still haven't found a site that offers information like this for free. After I do some more research, hopefully within the next six months I will be able to host a blog about making money on the internet for free. Is there any website out there that isn't a Scam???
